Explains Psalm Chapter 15

🌿 The Question (Verse 1)

“Lord, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill?”

David is asking:
“Who can truly live close to God?”
Not just visit—but dwell with Him.

This is about relationship, not religion.

🕊️ The Character of That Person (Verses 2–5)

David then describes the kind of life that pleases God:

1. Walks uprightly

• Lives with integrity
• The same person in private as in public

2. Works righteousness

• Does what is right, not just what feels right
• Their actions match God’s ways

3. Speaks truth in their heart

• Honest from the inside out
• No hidden deceit or double life

4. Controls their tongue

• Does not gossip or tear others down
• Refuses to spread harm with words

👉 This speaks strongly against backbiting and slander—something God takes seriously.

5. Honours the right people

• Despises what is evil
• Honours those who fear God

👉 Their values are aligned with God’s values.

6. Keeps their word

• Even when it costs them
• They don’t break promises for convenience

7. Lives with integrity in money

• Doesn’t exploit others
• Refuses bribes or dishonest gain

🏔️ The Promise (Final Line)

“He that doeth these things shall never be moved.”

This means:

• Stable life
• Unshaken faith
• Security in God

Not perfect—but consistent, sincere, and God-fearing

✨ The Deeper Meaning

Psalm 15 is not saying:
“Earn your way to God.”

It is showing:
👉 What a life transformed by God looks like

In truth, no one perfectly meets this standard—
that’s why we need grace through Christ.

But this Psalm becomes a mirror:
